Hi, I am Yalona Tisdel but typically go by the shorter version Lona Tisdel. I am originally from Toledo, OH but relocated to the sunny desert of Phoenix, AZ in 2013 shortly after I graduated from college. I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor in Science in Journalism with a minor in Creative Writing. I started my business officially in 2020 by obtaining my LLC where I am a photographer of all subjects and I create personalized apparel, mugs, cups and more. I began doing photography while in college and I specialize in digital art. I am very good with kids and big families. I strive to make sure I gain enough images during photoshoots to have perfect pictures for each client I have.

I specialize in contact with clients to bring ideas to life on different materials such as, t-shirts, sweatshirts, coffee and beer mugs, keychains, and more. Photoshoots and creations can also be intertwined with custom t-shirts for the photoshoot and/or special gifts from the photos as well.

Front-End Development

I began my journey with SheCodes in 2021 and the weather app is one of my favorite projects thus far. I have learned and am proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. With this project, I pulled live data from an API and intergrated it into the app to have it fully function. The app provides live weather data, as well as current location and icons to match the weather. I also created this webpage for my digital portfolio making it responsive and active. I then learned React and now to integrate that with my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make a functional responsive dictionary app and another weather app.
